Hi Gang, I have a question/statement. As you all waited/or are still waiting for an organ transplant, When you were getting wait listed for your organ transplant, what barriers did you face as you were getting ready to be waitlisted? did you find it easy to go through the process? did you encounter any barriers? did you feel "ready" to start the evaluation process? did all your questions get answered? if there are barriers in your eyes what do you think were the most important barriers that need to be discussed?

We were chatting in our international support group today about remembering to take our meds and what songs we use as our alarm (because why have a boring sound when you can make it fun?)

@Jorge_C mentioned his song is I will survive, which is a fantastic choice and one I might be stealing. Mine is currently my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, which might not be the best choice but I needed something catchy enough I wouldn't tune it out😆

If you have a fun alarm song, drop it below!

Hi,

I am a frequent traveler and I often even travel across time zones. When I dosed insulin this was very complicated since my long acting insulin really needed 24 hrs between doses and the meal time insulin was used right before eating. It took me a day or so to adjust and it often posed issues. W my transplant meds I try to adjust my schedule as well so I keep my tac levels stable. This means I should dose every 12 hrs and I often do a two day transition moving the dosing a few hrs each day to allow for this cadence yet letting me sleep!

how do you do it?

I recently found out I have osteoporosis. Most likely from my medication regime. I am going to try yoga, new medication, and small weight training. Problem with me is I have no hunger or thirst cues. The docs are all stumped. This is frustrating. Anyone have bone issues?
